Impression Technology was started in December 1994. Its founders worked previously in both the printing and banking industry. The company's main objective was to provide localized printing of bank cheques to the business community in Victoria. Quick delivery and pricing at a fraction of what banks were charging for cheques made the company an overnight success.
As a full line printer, Impression Technology quickly added many other business related printing such as business cards, invoices, snap sets, gift certificates and doctors office prescription pads just to name a few. The company has evolved into a premier source for all business related printing on Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia.
In July of 2005, new printing standards were introduced for all cheques being processed through the Canadian banks. Impression Technology was one of the first companies in British Columbia to supply these new format cheques long before the actual implementation date, including all business cheques, manual or computer generated, continuous forms and laser cheques. The new mandatory deadline set by the CPA is September 2, 2008.
